Vsphere Client Failed To Install Hcmon Driver Windows 10

But I don’t see Non-Plug and Play Drivers and VMware hcmon on my Windows 10 computer; Try renaming the C:WindowsSystem32drivershcmon.sys file. Still get the same error; Solution. On my laptop, vSphere Client 5.5 and 6.0 (older build), and their respective Update Manager plug-in are installed; Remove these older clients and plug-ins. Failed to install the hcmon driver. Now I've come across several simple things that should help me, but it didn't: remove vsphere client, install remote console and reinstall vsphere client; install with extra admin priviliges; Do a register workaround (enable HCmon, install, remove regkey).

Does anyone know how or where to report problems with the website?

Vsphere client failed to install hcmon driver windows 10 32-bitVsphere

None of the available VMTN forums seem to be applicable, and the “Contact Us” at the bottom of the page doesn’t have a way to report website problems.

I am sticking this in vSphere forum so eyeballs see it. I am sorry, I blame VMWare for making reporting this problem difficult.

,

I previously successfully signed in to the forum using “Google Chrome, Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit)” on Windows 10.

When I visit this site again in a new tab, I get an error page “400 Bad Request” – “Request Header or Cookie Too Large”

I can access the VMTN website if I open an Incognito window which then doesn’t have any cookies associated with it.

,

If I open the Chrome Console with function F12, look at Network -> Headers, and refresh the page, there is a ridiculous cookie in the request header that is 9775 characters long.

I would post the content of the cookie, but it potentially contains personal information about me that should not be public.

It looks like VMTN is creating the cookie, so it’s probably a problem on VMWare’s end, not Google.
